Jim Douglas

Jim Douglas

President

As president, Jim Douglas is responsible for all aspects of the Wind River business globally. With more than 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry, he is working to advance the company’s position as a leading provider of software for IoT by expanding its reach in both new and existing markets, and growing its comprehensive edge-to-cloud portfolio with innovative, industry-leading products. He is responsible for the management of 1,800 employees in 20 countries. Before assuming the role of president, Jim Douglas served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer responsible for global marketing strategy, communications, and programs at Wind River. He joined the company in March 2010.

Prior to joining Wind River, he was chief executive officer of CodeGear, the leading independent Windows and Java software development tools company, which was acquired by Embarcadero Technologies. He has also served as president and chief executive officer of ReShape Inc., an electronic design automation startup, and as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Tality, Inc., a design services company launched as a spin-off of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. His experience also includes nearly a decade at Cadence in various senior management roles, including vice president of product marketing, with global responsibility for Cadence's $950M software business. He earned a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.

Jane E. Bone

Jane E. Bone

Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer

Jane Bone is the chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance and administration for Wind River. Prior to her appointment as CFO, she served as the chief accounting officer, and before that as the company's vice president of finance and corporate controller. She joined Wind River as part of its acquisition in February 2000 of Integrated Systems Inc., where she spent three years serving as the European and international controller. She has also held positions at Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Coopers & Lybrand LLP in the United States and the United Kingdom. She earned a Bachelor of Science (economics) honors degree in accounting from University of Hull, United Kingdom.

Michael Krutz

Michael Krutz

Chief Product Officer

Michael Krutz is responsible for the company’s business units, including core operating systems, connected vehicle, cloud technologies, and networking. Within this role he oversees all strategy, product management, and execution, as well as the financial performance for these businesses. With more than 30 years of engineering, services, and general management experience, he most recently served as senior vice president for automotive solutions at Wind River.

Prior to joining Wind River in 2009, he was the vice president for the Core Networks Division in Motorola's networks business. He has also held multiple engineering and services leadership positions in embedded software, aerospace and defense, satellite communications, and telecommunications/networking. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in business and electrical engineering/computer science from Marquette University.

Doug Ertz

Doug Ertz

Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Doug Ertz is responsible for the leadership of the global sales team at Wind River. With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, he is leading the company's efforts to capitalize on long-term growth opportunities and align the sales organization with key customer and industry segments. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy and direction of Wind River sales operations across the company's multiple product lines. He joined Wind River in 2014 and most recently served as vice president of worldwide sales for the Wind River networking and simulation business units.

Prior to joining Wind River, he held sales leadership positions with major technology companies, including Spirent Communications, SAP, Manugistics (JDA Software), and Cadence Design Systems. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Gareth Noyes

Gareth Noyes

Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development

Gareth Noyes is responsible for overseeing Wind River corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions activities, as well as for leading the chief technology office. Charged with developing the company’s long-term technology vision, he has Wind River positioned to address the evolving market landscape and disruptive forces such as the Internet of Things, the virtualization of the network and the transition to a software-defined world. He joined the company in January 1999 and has held roles in various areas, including engineering, product management, business development, and strategic alliances. He also led the acquisition of Wind River by Intel in 2009.

Prior to joining Wind River, he was a research scientist working at various European laboratories and universities, where he developed expertise in complex embedded control and data acquisition systems. He holds a Ph.D. in high-energy particle physics from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a B.Sc. in physics from Royal Holloway at the University of London.

Rabih Maalouf

Rabih Maalouf

Vice President, Worldwide Engineering

Rabih Maalouf is responsible for the global R&D team at Wind River. In this role, he leads the delivery of innovative products that enable customers to meet the challenges and opportunities of the Internet of Things. With over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, he oversees the development of all cloud and operating system products to expand the company's reach in both new and existing markets.

Prior to joining Wind River, he served as a senior software developer at Nortel Networks, where he developed expertise in cellular and networking technologies. He has a B.Sc. in computer science with distinction from Bishop's University, Canada.

Amit Ronen

Amit Ronen

Senior Vice President, Customer Success

Amit Ronen is responsible for managing customer-facing engineering groups across the globe, including field engineering, engineering specialists, and customer support organizations.

Before joining Wind River, he was the founder and CEO of Presales Solutions, a company that offered a unique on-demand hosted solution in the customer relationship management (CRM) space. Prior to Presales Solutions, he spent more than 10 years with Mercury Interactive, where he gained extensive executive and global field management experience. There he managed and built the presales organization in the Americas, expanding it from 40 people to more than 150 people and supporting revenue generation of more than half a billion dollars. In addition, he served as vice president of professional services for the Americas and vice president of Mercury's Tuning business, a startup within the company. He was also a founding member of Mercury Interactive Japan KK and was responsible for all technical field operations in the Japan and Korea region.

He holds a B.A. in computer science and economics from Tel Aviv University in Israel and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) of Stanford University in California.

Mychal McCabe

Mychal McCabe

Vice President, Marketing

Mychal McCabe is responsible for leadership of the global marketing organization at Wind River, including corporate communications, marketing communications, demand generation, and field marketing. In this role, he oversees marketing strategy, brand, positioning, and messaging across all marketing channels. He joined Wind River in 2004 and has held roles related to various marketing disciplines including web development, web marketing, marketing communications, and product marketing. He also led the repositioning of Wind River as an IoT company.

Prior to joining Wind River, he held positions at Buzzsaw.com (a division of Autodesk). He holds a B.A. degree in English Literature from U.C. Berkeley.

Marques McCammon

Marques McCammon

General Manager, Connected Vehicle Solutions

Marques McCammon is general manager for the connected vehicle solutions business at Wind River. He has extensive expertise in the automotive industry, including work as the GM for the car and truck division at Saleen, GM of West Coast operations at American Specialty Cars, director of product and business at ASC Inc., and product strategist at DaimlerChrysler.

Before joining Wind River, he was the chief marketing officer at Aptera. He has also been included Crain's Detroit Business Top 40 Under 40 list of young executives making an impact on business in the Motor City. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from North Carolina A&T State University with graduate studies at the University of Michigan’s Rackham School of Engineering.

Keith Shea

Keith Shea

General Manager, Helix Cloud Solutions

Keith Shea is vice president and general manager of the Helix Cloud IoT solutions business at Wind River, where he is responsible for the company’s SaaS business. His team is chartered with developing and delivering to the market the product portfolio for IoT, as well as managing key customer relationships across broad markets. Keith is also responsible for the ongoing leadership of the Wind River alliance program. Prior to Wind River, he spent more than a decade at Intel Corporation helping the Wind River parent company grow its revenue through strategic software and hardware ventures.

During his tenure with Intel he held assignments in corporate development, product management, marketing, and sales, living and working in both the United States and Europe. Prior to Intel, he worked in the telecommunications software industry with positions in marketing, sales, and product management. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Michel Genard

Michel Genard

General Manager, Operating System Platforms

Michel Genard is general manager of the operating systems business at Wind River. In this position, he is responsible for strategies for the VxWorks, Wind River Linux, and virtual platform/simulation lines of business. In his previous role, he oversaw the virtual platform and simulation business as vice president and general manager for Wind River Simics.

Michel joined Wind River in March 2010 after the acquisition of Virtutech by Intel. He is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the software and hardware embedded market, with executive positions at Virtutech, TimeSys, and Virtuallogix.

Brenda Herold

Brenda Herold

General Manager, Software Defined Infrastructure

Brenda Herold is responsible for the leadership of the software defined infrastructure (SDI) business at Wind River. Under her direction, the team is charged with delivering platforms that are secure, reliable, and provide low latency appropriate for a diverse range of stringent market needs. With platforms developed to solve critical problems for the rigorous telecommunications market, Wind River SDI solutions also adapt to other industries where network failures are simply unacceptable, including for use cases such as core networks, Internet of Things infrastructure, network appliances, radio access networks (RAN), content delivery networks (CDNs), virtual customer premise equipment (vCPE) and mobile edge computing (MEC) throughout wired and wireless networks.

Prior to joining Wind River, Brenda held a variety of engineering, product management, and general management leadership positions in the areas of telecommunications, networking, public safety, and security. She holds a B.S. in electrical engineering/computer science from Marquette University and an M.S. in computer engineering from the University of Illinois.
